I accept most major health insurance plans and have limited sliding scale appointments available for those in need of financial assistance.
I am paneled with: Medicaid, Anthem/Carelon, BCBS, Cigna/Evernorth, Curative, United Healthcare/Optum, Aetna and Connecticare.

About EMDR
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
The goal of EMDR is to reprocess traumatic memories using our brain’s natural healing processes so the memories become less distressing.
Training & Approach
I am trained in EMDR, motivational interviewing, ACT, CBT, mindfulness and gender-affirming care through a trauma-informed perspective.
Together, we will explore these evidence-based practices to find an individualized approach that works best for you while incorporating humor, appropriate self-disclosure, authenticity and creativity.

I am passionate about working with adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety and LGBTQ+ issues.
My clients are often looking to reprocess childhood trauma, understand and work through complex family dynamics and rebuild their sense of self and autonomy.

I strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where trust and safety are the foundation of our sessions. We will work to identify and validate emotions, explore unmet needs and build your confidence. My office is also neurodivergent- friendly with lots of low lighting, fidgets, snacks, sensory pillows and weighted stuffed animals for you to utilize. I look forward to meeting you!
About me:
Hi! My name is Ashley (she/her). I’ve been a therapist for 6+ years and opened my solo private practice in 2024. I specialize in working with adults to process childhood trauma, explore complex family dynamics, adjust to adulthood and rebuild their sense of self. My practice also focuses being a validating and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
I view the therapeutic process as collaborative. We will find the approach that best meets your needs, whether it’s more free-flowing and conversational or more structured like EMDR. I also believe there is no such thing as “TMI” (too much information) in therapy. Politics, religion, gender, intimacy, medical issues, you name it – all topics are welcome! All of these things impact us as humans and having the space to process them is imperative. I value incorporating creativity, authenticity, humor and appropriate self disclosure into sessions. I strive to create an environment where you can show up as you are and be your most authentic self.
I am neurodivergent (ADHD) and love working with clients who are on the neurodivergent spectrum too! My office is neurodivergent-friendly with low lighting, fidgets, weighted stuffed animals, art supplies, snacks and water to meet your sensory needs. I encourage clients to bring stimming or comfort items to session if needed to help you feel as comfortable as possible.
When I’m not providing therapy, I am usually reading, gardening, getting tattoos and exploring spooky and gothic places.
